How We Are Built: Regulated, Transparent, Disciplined

Our three principles — Regulated, Transparent, Disciplined

Our three principles (Regulated, Transparent, Disciplined) appear as three simple cards in this issue. But each one stands for a set of concrete, verifiable commitments, and understanding them will help you evaluate any fund, not just ours.

Regulated
Coinsolation’s fund is licensed by the Mauritius Financial Services Commission and operates under Mauritius collective-investment law. In practice this means the fund cannot simply do as it pleases: an independent fund administrator keeps the official books, an independent custodian holds the assets, and an independent auditor examines everything after the fact. Three separate professional firms, none of which report to us, stand between your investment and any possibility of misstatement. When you evaluate any investment, ask this first: who, other than the people selling it, is watching?

Transparent
Transparency is a process, not a slogan. The fund’s holdings are independently valued every valuation day at official market closing prices, not at prices we estimate or smooth. Subscription and redemption cut-off times are documented in advance, so everyone is treated by the same clock. Reporting follows the fund’s offering documents, not our mood. The result is simple: you always know what you own, what it is worth, and how that number was reached.

Disciplined
Discipline shows up in the unglamorous choices. We transact only through approved brokers and custodians: no exotic venues, no counterparties that cannot be verified. It is the same discipline that governs any Bitcoin exposure: it reaches the portfolio only through regulated, exchange-listed instruments held with an institutional custodian, never a crypto exchange, and never private keys we hold ourselves. We build the portfolio liquidity-first, favouring instruments that can be sold in an orderly way even in stressed markets, because an investment you cannot exit is a promise, not an asset. And we run operations to be audit-ready at all times, not tidied up once a year.

Together, the three principles answer the three questions every investor should ask: Who is watching? How do I know what I own? And can I get out? Notice that none of the three is about returns. Returns come and go with markets; structure is what protects you when they go. For the rest of this series, we will return to these questions again and again. They are the test we invite you to apply to us, and the foundation of everything else we will teach.
